Polypeptide antibiotic drug , generally bactericidal, used in inflammatory dermatopathies of infectious origin.
Indications
Prevention and short-term treatment of skin infections in minor wounds caused by sensitive germs.
Warnings
Do not administer to children under 6 years of age without medical indication.
Contraindications
Do not apply in breast infections during lactation, or in case of hypersensitivity to any of its components.
Interactions
No interactions have been described when applied topically to the skin or mucosa.
Adverse effects
The use of this medicine may cause the following effects that do not normally require medical attention: hypersensitivity reactions such as itching, redness, swelling or other signs of irritation that were not present before using this product.
Precautions
Do not use on exudative lesions or large surfaces for prolonged periods, without medical authorization.
Dose
The doctor must indicate the appropriate dosage and treatment time for your particular case. However, the usual recommended dose is: Topical dermal application every 8 hours.
How to use
Administer only topically-dermally. Apply a small amount of Bacitracin , Neomycin ointment to the affected area. Avoid contact with the eyes or its surroundings.
Overdose
Given the form of topical-dermal administration, no toxic effects have been reported.
Storage conditions
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Keep in its original container, protected from heat.
- Do not use this product after the expiration date indicated on the container.
